While having most experience with addiction and substance abuse disorders, in my practice, I see individuals, adolescents, and families for a variety of mental health issues. I believe therapy primarily relies on the trusted relationship between therapist and client to provide a safe place for expression of feelings and verbalizing histories to explore one’s past and unhelpful patterns. I offer compassion and understanding while providing suggestions to help clients improve their understanding of themselves and develop a strong foundation to allow peace and happiness into their lives moving forward. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Theory, and Family Systems approaches to achieve short and long-term goals to heal the past while also developing tools for immediate symptom relief.  I have dedicated my education and work experience to helping others grow through difficult times. I am genuinely motivated to work with clients of all ages to create a safe and trusting relationship aimed for a successful therapeutic process.
